Verification of completing the Electrical Aptitude Test/NJATC (National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee) with a score of 5 or better. Training will only take place in American Fork. You must be willing to permanentley relocate based on the needs of the business after passing the 3-year meterman apprenticeship. Great company and great benefits! Entry level position for candidates interested in becoming Automotive Apprentice Technician. All Apprenticeships are awarded to top Lube Technician employees. Work in the same shop with seasoned Hyundai certified Master Technicians. Hyundai Training Plans include all aspects of automotive disciplines; basic maintenance, engine, transmission, suspension, electrical and EV, emissions, and diagnostics, etc. Schedule is Monday through Wednesday 7am-9pm with pay starting at $17 per hour and a full benefit package for Full time hours. Enhances Murdock Auto Team's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different guest requests, addressing customer feedback, and additional job duties as assigned by leadership. Skills: Proper operation of diagnostic equipment including vehicle lifts, handling of tools, knowledge of tools and safe usage, completing timely multi-point inspections, computer operation, teamwork, root cause analysis, problem solving, adaptability to new technology, and communication of solutions. Experience And Education: Ability to read and comprehend automobile characteristics and technical features. Computer acumen for basic software programs especially Dealer Management Software (DMS).
