Students will engage in hands-on clinical learning, increase confidence by combining education with clinical practice, experience the importance of compassion in health care and become integrated into our Tidelands Health culture. The registered nurse apprentice will work a maximum of 16 hours per month on a medical/surgical unit, partnering with an experienced RN preceptor. The program is open to nurses who are in their senior year of a bachelor of science in nursing program or who have completed the first three semesters in an associate of science in nursing program.
