<div>We offer a 5 year electrical apprenticeship program for inside electricians. If selected, you will go to work during the day for a contractor and then go to school 2 nights a week (August-May) for training. Starting pay with no experience is currently $16.20 with scheduled raises as you advance/contract changes. We take applications and hire year-round. Class sizes vary by our workload. </div><p data-name='heading'><b>Responsibilities</b></p><div>Must take an aptitude test that includes algebra/reading comprehension.</div><div>Must be able to legally work in the US, pass a drug test/physical, have transportation to work.</div><div>School is mandatory in the evenings.</div><p data-name='heading'><b>Skills</b></p><div>Basic mechanical abilities preferred. 2nd Year Apprentice or Higher - Sunrise Beach Co-Mo Electric Cooperative, Inc. 2nd Year Apprentice Lineman or Higher Full-Time, Hourly, Sunrise Beach, MO Co-Mo Connect is seeking a 2nd Year or Higher Apprentice Lineman to join our team at the Sunrise Beach office. The ideal candidate will have exceptional skills in overhead and underground electrical construction and maintenance, as well as a solid understanding of material handling, safety protocols, and electric line construction standards. A working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code and the cooperative's service policies and regulations is essential for success in this role. Qualifications: Actively enrolled as a 2nd Year Apprentice Lineman or higher or possess Journeyman status . Ability to climb poles, operate equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks. Effective knowledge of material handling and electric line construction and maintenance. Commitment to safety protocols, including handling on-the-job hazards.
