If selected, you will go to work during the day for a contractor and then go to school 2 nights a week (August-May) for training. Starting pay with no experience is currently $16.20 with scheduled raises as you advance/contract changes. We take applications and hire year-round. The ideal candidate will have exceptional skills in overhead and underground electrical construction and maintenance, as well as a solid understanding of material handling, safety protocols, and electric line construction standards. A working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code and the cooperative's service policies and regulations is essential for success in this role. Qualifications: Actively enrolled as a 2nd Year Apprentice Lineman or higher or possess Journeyman status . Ability to climb poles, operate equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks.
