Security Systems Integration Technician - Apprenticeship Program 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars The MS Integration Technician apprentice program is a one-year structured training role designed to develop the skills required to advance within the MS Integration Technician career path. This position requires strict adherence to training expectations, company policies, and behavioral standards. Technicians in training will receive hands-on instruction in the installation, service, and troubleshooting of integrated security systems including access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercom, power doors, gates, and related technologies. Trainees must demonstrate consistent attendance, professionalism, a positive attitude, and rapid learning progression to remain in the program. Training & Performance Attend all scheduled training days with no missed dates in the first 120 days unless pre-approved under company policy. Participate in job-site instruction with the primary trainer Performance reviews will occur on 30, 60 and 90 days. Memorize and recite company core values and pass a verbal exam after 2 weeks. No overtime without approval from Project Managers. Complete all assigned coursework, documentation, and hands-on competencies within required timelines. Uniform & Conduct Requirements Uniform must be worn daily and must be clean, complete, and compliant with company standards. Closed-toe, safety-compliant footwear is required at all sites. Accept and respond to critical feedback from lead technicians. A formal stern-warning system will be applied for repeated issues. Must be willing and able to work at any assigned location, including construction sites and industrial environments, and must meet the physical demands required for these settings. Personal mobile phones may be used only for authorized work functions (e.g., Teams, Q360); personal use during work hours is not permitted. Must adhere to training specific PTO and personal-time rules. TRAVEL & SCHEDULE This position requires daily travel for training, customer support, installation and other business-related activities. Travel is a mandatory component of the role. Employees are responsible for arranging and covering their own transportation to and from travel locations within a 75-mile radius of their assigned office. Flexibility and reliability in meeting travel requirements are essential to successfully performing the duties of this position. Overtime, on-call rotation, and weekend work may be required.
